Pipeline Operator Qualification

Pipeline Worker valve Optimized Pipeline Solutions is committed to complying with all DOT / PHMSA requirements to insure pipeline safety. By definition, a Qualified Operator is considered "an individual that has been evaluated and can perform assigned covered tasks and recognize and react to abnormal operating conditions." We have created a fully compliant OQ Training Program designed to evaluate and qualify your workers in a wide variety of covered tasks.

OQ Training Program

OPS's training covers both normal and abnormal operating condition procedures as well as gas and liquid line operations. Our instructors will arrange to travel to your location for group training. OPS is also beginning to offer our own in-house classes for contractors, new employees, and potential job seekers looking to become OQ Qualified.

OQ Testing

Most pipeline incidents are due to operator negligence and human error. OPS OQ testing will ensure your staff properly understands how to identify and respond to potential warning signs. Our testing procedures are meant to engage your employees and encompass written, verbal, and hands-on testing.

OQ Records

OPS now has an online database available for clients to access and view all of their OQ Training records. We will automatically send your company reminders as your employees and contractors come due for new OQ training.

Contractor OQ Training

OPS offers individualized OQ training for contractors that only need to be qualified in specific covered tasks. Please contact us with your required job functions and we can help develop an appropriate training course that will cover all the appropriate tasks.
