Operating & Maintenance Manual


DOT Department of Transportation PHMSA Logo The O&M Manual is a reference guide intended for use by pipeline engineering staff, maintenance crews, operations staff and contractors when planning or performing work which involves operations, repair or maintenance of the company pipeline infrastructure. OPS provides its clients with a DOT compliant O&M Manual divided into 7 sections and fully customized to meet each pipeline operator's individual needs.

Operation and Maintenance Manuals


The primary O&M Manual provides a general outline of the DOT / PHMSA requirements for gas pipelines (subject to 49 CFR Part 192) or liquid pipelines (subject to 49 CFR Part 195.) It also references the various corresponding manuals that are required as part of the O&M Program.

    The O&M Manual is reviewed and updated annually, not to exceed 15 months, by OPS and your DOT Compliance Department with the help of Pipeline Supervisor, Pipeline Operators and Technicians.
