GIS - Geographic Information Systems
GIS is commonly referred to as Geographic Information Systems, Geographical Information Systems, or Geospatial Information Systems. Since GIS mapping and submittal of regulated pipelines is required at a federal and state level we have an in-house GIS Analyst for mapping your company's pipeline systems. OPS is recognized by the Texas Railroad Commission as an approved vendor for submitting pipeline system maps. We can take your existing pipeline geospatial data or go out in the field and generate new geodata.

We create GIS maps that conform to each states acceptable criteria and have worked extensively with the TXRRC TPMS submission standards. GIS Maps - Geospatial Data Conversion & Gathering
If your company has existing geospatial data from a pipeline survey we can convert it to almost any format and generate the appropriate reports and maps for submittal to the appropriate agencies. If your company does not have accurate or updated GIS on your pipeline system we will arrange for our field staff to locate your pipelines and GPS map your system with extremely high accuracy.
