Barbara is a Training Director and responsible for Operator Qualification Training with OPS. Prior to joining the company, she served as the District Training Coordinator for BP Pipelines for 7 years. During her time with BP Pipeline she was responsible for training field technicians in programs such as HSSE, HITRA, Control of Work, and OMS S&O.

Prior to coming to OPS as an Operator Qualification Training Director, Barbara began working around pipelines in 1993 as an Instrumentation & Electrical / Analyzer Technician with BP Texas City Chemical Plant. Her 17 years of field experience helps provide Optimized Pipeline Solutions OQ Trainees with invaluable hands on demonstration and instruction.

Barbara received her Associate of Applied Science in Electrical Instrumentation from Texas State Technical College in Waco, TX and is currently pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. She is also a member of the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI) and Instrumentation Society of America (ISA).
